Hey everyone,
I hope you had a fabulous weekend. You know I have to write about this! I enjoyed the red carpet, The stars brought it…and oh , did you see what happened with Moonlight and La La Land. These are my favorites and why. The carpet was dominated by clean and structured white silhouettes. Enjoy reading.
Priyanka Chopra in a structured geometric Ralph & Russo dress. She is my best dressed of the night, so clean, so fresh, so stunning, the make-up the hair, the skin , the cut, the fit! absolutely gorgeous. This outfit gives me lifeee!
For Taraji aka Cookie, This is an amazing comeback from the Grammy’s with this Alberto Ferretti blue velvet gown, I love that she kept it clean and old Hollywood with this look, she looks beautiful and rested.
I love how soft Viola Davis looks in Armani Prive, so feminine, not forced, just beautiful, the color compliments her skin tone perfectly, the hair is just chic and the makeup gets a 100 for me. Her team nailed this one and it was a big night for her, i’m so inspired by her success story knowing how hard she worked.
Hailee Steinfield was the perfect princess in Ralph & Russo, the print is perfect, the colur of the dress doesnt wash her out ,her hair and make up is amazing, it made the dress stand out without looking too princessy* lol. I loved it!
Karlie Kloss In Stella McCartney. Perfection!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Olivia Culpo in Marchesa, I saw this dress move and I loved that it fit so perfectly and she carried it so gracefully . I love the pop of colour with her makeup. The entire look is a Yes for me.
Liquid drip drop, goldfish:) in KaufmanFranco, she definitely looked like the Oscar Statute. Theres something about this look that makes me believe, not everyone can pull this off, hair and makeup was a hit especially with the bold eyeliner . Accessories was not minimal but i liked it, its a match matchy look, but i like it. I’m not a fan of sequin but i like it, its a good look but not my best. She pulled it off.
A lot of positive reviews on Janelle Monae, she infuses her personal style and I admire her for that, Shes wearing Ellie Saab and i love it, i’m not a fan of the belt and i would have preferred her without the hair crown and nothing on her ears, the dress is already a statement piece, asides that her body is a miracle and her make up takes a 100 !!!!
I loved Scarletts look in Alaia, she’s so sexy, i love this print, i just don’t like the fit at the top especially because shes got a nice bust line. I would have lover her make up to pop just a bit more and she would have taken it. Her hair is dope though.
Naomi Harris in Clavin Klein , I wished her dress was long , I really wanted it to be looonggggg, I believe it would have softened her look, I love the shoes, shes got a great body and her skin is amazing . i want another stylist to work with Naomi. I think there’s so much we can achieve with her.
For a 50 year old ,Halle Berry looks amazing, Halle , only Solange can try this hair on the red carpet, and she won’t even try it with this outfit, what was the hair stylist thinking?could this be an attempt at breaking the internet? There isn’t anything modern about this Versace dress except that it fits, with a body like this, I’m sure you would have slayed other styles and that hair, that hair, I was so heartbroken. The only good thing about this look is nothing 🙁
A big night for Marhershala Ali being the first Muslim to win an Oscar in Ermengildo Zegna Couture . Winning his Oscar for an incredible performance and topping it up with this timeless clean, effortless look, he is my best dressed man for the night.
For Ryan Gosling in Gucci, I loved the interesting twist to his shirt. Besides Gucci does not come unnoticed .
Pharell in Chanel. I love it, I love the entire look. all that detail, the look is just effortless and thank goodness , his hair looks just fine.
He looks great!!!!
